"Enchanted Waters" is the latest addition to the recent revamp of Navy Pier in Chicago. Selected for its "design for emotion" approach, dogstudio was asked to imagine, design, develop an interactive experience to engage the Pier’s more than 9 million yearly visitors.

"Enchanted Waters" is an immersive and uplifting reflection on Chicago’s relationship with Lake Michigan. Powered and built on Unity3D, the installation’s 30-foot-wide wall of screens displays a real-time 3D environment, transporting visitors to a magical, underwater plane. Through the use of several motion-sensing cameras, visitors can watch themselves play, interact with each other and conduct their own underwater ballet of fishes.

Since its launch in May 2018, this installation has already put a smile on thousands of faces coming from all over the world, and from all generations.

It was a pleasure to collaborate with our talented friends & neighbors at Archetype, Infinite Scale Design Group, Spye and the Ecolab Global Brand team to bring the vision to life. Together, we created a visually compelling installation that tells the story of Ecolab’s mission, vision and values.

Namely, how Ecolab helps U.S. Bank Stadium—and the world—protect people and vital resources through clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments. Visit the Ecolab North Gate entrance at the new stadium to experience this projected wonder in person. Results have been glowing.

One of Melbourne’s leading digital signage providers, FM Digital, recently completed the installation of two large impressive videowalls at the entrance to the new Sportsgirl retail store at Chadstone Shopping Centre.

FM Digital selected #dcmedia as its digital signage software solution to meet the unique requirements for an 18 screen (3 x 6) videowall of this type.

This included displaying 4K video content and synchronised playback of the media players. @JDS assisted FM Digital by building and commissioning the 4K media players to provide the final result which exceeded both FM Digital’s and Sportsgirl’s expectations.
